Will need high-speed deer whistles!

* Orest
I seriously don't think they work as even if the deer actually hear them, how do they know what to do? After all, they are a prey animal and instinctively survive by running from any perceived threats so are as likely to run in front of you as away. Many years ago I owned a company with a fleet of oil field service trucks that were of course driving a lot of rural roads. One of my managers insisted that we buy deer whistles for the trucks. I pointed out that we had yet to have a truck hit one but finally relented and said to go ahead. It took only one week for the first deer strike. Coincidence? Perhaps.
