I am just wondering if anyone else routinely cruises in their -236 at 2100 rpm (at altitudes below the teens). I have routinely flown at 2100rpm due to the benefits of low RPM that I read about, but the truth is that pulling that lever below 2150 or so has always given me the impression that the engine feels uncomfortable. I just got my prop dynamically balanced at 2100rpm and I now feel a bit more vibration. I should probably just stick to 2200rpm or higher since that feels smoother, but I am just wondering if anyone else perceives issues at 2100rpm or if it’s just my plane (or if this is just normal and I’m worried about nothing).
