Known as the island airport for years, now officially the Billy Bishop Regional. We are so fortunate to have this airport still, there has been enormous pressure to close it through the years. It has taken on a significant commercial role, which has squeezed out GA to some extent, but still a practical airport (& AOE) to get to the downtown.

Lined up and waiting on RWY 26, Ornge (medivac) just behind, and the nose of a Porter Q400 to the left. Another Porter was behind him, it is a busy place. Great view of the downtown core and the CN tower. Some building CU to the north, and northwest, no factor for the flight. My wife snapped the pic, of course.

I attended a one day conference at the convention center downtown, and the 20 minute flight saved us a wearying two or three hour drive both ways, traffic is insane.
