My goal is to eventually buy an airplane. I am not there yet but I am always doing research. For those of you who have had an airplane for some time, how accurately would you say this calculator reflects the costs of aircraft ownership If you adjust the numbers for the amount that you pay for tie-downs, current fuel prices, etc?

How much would you put away for an hourly reserve to cover your MX costs? From what I gather you will have to put away $10-$15 per hour just to cover the engine overhaul.
