The pilot seemed very happy to talk to the cameras, think he was elated that things went about as well as they could have given the situation. Looks like the plane is even flyable again.

Buttonville airport in Toronto is completely surrounded by built up areas, and pretty hostile to a forced. The 407 is a toll highway that goes right by it, and tends to be relatively clear of traffic outside of rush hours.

On a ferry flight just after a 100hr inspection. Engine sputtered and died at 1500ft AGL.
