My ailerons had a dent in them that was too big to be considered cosmetic by an A&P, he put new ailerons on it. When he balanced them the weighs are too big and he cut holes in the wing tips, for them to swing down into. I do not like this. Is there anything I can do about it (Different wing tips?). I would imagine those 2 big holes in the wing tips are contributing to a good amount of drag and the weights kinda hit the sides of the hole when they are fully deflected. I go in for Annual at the end of July and was going get something done about it when that time comes. note, the ding was found during pre-buy and was not done by my A&P. I dont really know why the weights had to be so big as to not fit into the wing tips either.
