Hi everyone. I’m looking for some pitot heat information. It is annual time for my 140 and as I have been working through the inspection one of my squawks is the pitot heat is inop. This was known to me when I bought the airplane last year.

It turns out that the pitot heat was disconnected, but there are also a couple extra wires. My question is about these wires. The white wires from the middle of the pitot are for the power and ground, the pitot will heat when the power is turned on. What are the other two wires on the right side of the photo for and how do they connect.

Thanks. I have been looking for information and have not been able to find anything.
