I have been flying for about 5 years. Always wanted to fly so my kids got me an intro flight after I retired, and off I went.
I bought a 1962 PA28-160 when I was about 1/2 way through my Private ticket. Completed that and last year got my Inst. Rating. I now have just over 300hrs. The previous owner did paint, I did Interior and IFR upgrades. I have my own hanger and fly out of 63C.
My wife and I do day trips a couple of times a year (the latest was up to Mall of America) and I fly to visit the grandkids in Illinois.
I'm always looking for somewhere to go.
