Hi guys,

I went to Catalina Island (KAVX) the other day and I have a couple of things to add that might help.

1. if you land slightly off the centerline in a tri gear, you will miss a bunch of the potholes. (i know some will say no and to land on centerline, but this is what has worked for some of us in avoiding potholes)

2. if you arrive about 4:30 wait a bit, and go in just as they are packing up, you can get free cookies. usually the cookies are $2 and they throw them out at the end of the day, but if you show up during closing they will give it to you. My buddy and I got 5 giant cookies for free.
