I've been investigating the reason for too much oil coming out of the breather on my 1961 Comanche 250 and boroscoped the cylinders.
nr 4 cylinder piston crown was wet and black. The bottom plug was not oily but that is just way too much oil on top.
nr 1 had a tiny bit pooling on around the edges but no where near as wet as nr 4.

what do you guys think of this?
hone, repack both cylinders? Could they be the cause of all the oil coming out of the breather?
The compressions are otherwise perfect. As long as I keep around 7.5-8 quarts, the engine does not consume any oil expect the bit it spits out
