Hi guys, I flew to Big Bear a couple of days ago and the Manderin restraurant is no longer there on the airfield. It has now moved into town in a smaller facility.

also there's a place a couple of blocks away with a pretty good steak dinner special for $10. It's called Thelma's.

The airplane fair will not be happening this year, maybe in 2013.

Big Bear (L35) remains to be the cheapest gas in all of southern california at $4.90, some local pilots said its often times get as low as around $4.35 for 100LL.
