My auto gear extender is out of adjustment. I have chosen for now to retain it. Retraction and extension speeds are high. Pitot clear, Connecting hoses clear and intact, Diaphragm appears intact (checking for leaks).

Does anyone know if there is suppose to be a bleed bypass in the diaphragm or should it hold vacuum or pressure without leakage?

I have tried adjusting the spring tension per the manual but have not seen any significant change.

Any experience working on these?

Is there anyone who repairs these systems?

At the moment I want to retain/repair it, however, I may be willing to remove it depending upon what happens along the path to repair.
