Does anyone know if i replace the plastic flap housing in my 69 arrow does the new housing come WITH A built in pin designed to disable the auto gear drop system?
The previous owner drilled a crappy hole across the flap housing and stuck in a cotter pin on a pull ring in order to hold the gear from free falling at slow speed.
It’s ugly and requires 3 hands to pull it out while still flying the plane.
Is there a better way? Or does a newer flap housing now provide a built in pin?
Thanks group
