A few months back spent a fortune to refinish the lower and upper cowls. After coming back from Oshkosh, I noticed the dreaded heat cracks on the lower cowl. The exhaust is not leaking, it is radiant heat from the exhaust.
What material has folks had success with, using it on the inside? I only need to cover a small area to protect the cowl and deflect a bit of the heat.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
