Archer lower cowl heat reflective material-input?

I am in the process of redoing my upper and lower cowl. I am noticing heat damage to the cowl from my exhaust. There are no leaks, it’s radiant heat.
I bought this high end heat reflective material and will install it as shown in the pics. Opinions? Good idea? Bad idea?
Material is rated to 1400 degrees.
