Plane: 1973 Arrow with TT of abut 3,000 hr.
Location: Big Bear Lake, CA at nearly 7,000 elevation

Recently the amp meter will not register any current after turning on the alternator until about 1-2 minutes after the switch is thrown. After that everything appears fine. This just started the last couple of flights. The amp meter needle has vibrated quite a bit for the past year or so.

My though is the voltage regulator but that is without any other information.

Thanks for any help you can give me.
