Low voltage light came on while flying today. Ammeter showing zero charge. Belt checked and found to be ok. Alternator brushes look good. Looks like alternator failure but could it be a Problem with the voltage regulator, over voltage relay or a diode. Any ideas greatly appreciated. What should I check before buying new alternator
