Just as the gear is retracted and the pumps shuts off the alternator dumps off and the master has to be reset. I had an alternator shop check the alt and he said it was fine, not sure if he checked the noise capacitor attached to it. Reinstalled and went flying. Had a volt meter attached to the buss bar and was getting 14.1v and the prob still happened so I dropped the voltage by .25 still happened then down to 13.5 same thing. I was thinking I was close too my over voltage protection and with the quick dump of the load I was getting a spike. I reset the regulator to 14v. There is an over voltage reg next to the normal regulator I am thinking that could be going bad but before I change it I just bought a new noise capacitor that attaches to the alt frame. Just last flight while I was playing w/ the reg my # 1 radio has a lot of static when I x mit, the #2 is fine. When I shut the eng down the #1 xmits w/ no static. The hyd power pack was overhauled a couple of years ago and pumps seems to shut off right after retraction so I think the pressure switch is good. I am an A&P but work on heavy metal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
