While performing the 50H Airworthiness Directive (AD83-10-01) Inspection on the PA-30 Twin Commanche's fuel selector valve and fuel strainer assembly, I noticed the filter element spring retainer to be severely corroded. This is the aluminum washer shaped somewhat like a "C" in that it slips over the drain valve stem and holds the spring tension against the filter element. It is also stamped slightly so that the washer has a depressed center, in service the depressed center is installed upwards towards the filter element so that the spring also helps to self-center the retainer on the valve stem.

Piper PN: 492-136 (Airborne 1H7-7) & 492-137 (Airborne 1H7-8). The 1H7-7 & 8 are upgraded versions of 1H7-1 & 2, upgraded by having the stainless steel conical shaped fuel bowls.

Question: Does anyone have a parts breakdown for the fuel selector valve? How about a replacement retainer washer?
