Hi everyone,

I have a 1973 Cherokee 140 that has air conditioning in it. I was thinking I would like to remove it to gain some useful load. It looks like it could be kind of expensive to do though if I am looking at things right. It looks like I would need to replace the ring gear, Alternator, and then all the brackets also. Am I missing anything? Have any of you done this? and what was the approx cost?

Thanks

Jeff T.
