Hi fellow pilots. I'm new here and hoping to become a new Comanche owner within the next few weeks. I've seen a lot of Comanches for sale with the original "t" style instrument panel. Of course, I've also seen a lot with a newer panel. If I were to purchase one with the older panel is there a simple ADS-B Out solution that works well. I was looking at a Garmin GL82 which appears to hook up between the transponder and the transponder antenna so I suppose it probably has a lot to do with the transponder. Anyway, I'd be Interested in hearing what any of you may have done to meet the ADS-B requirement while keeping the old style instrument panel.

Also, what's the best way to find a Comanche-knowledgeable mechanic to perform a pre-buy inspection?

Thanks!
