So I took the plane in this morning for the 24 month IFR check and they said the Aspen panels were off on altitude. They said the PFD was 30ft low and the MFD was 40ft low. They said to adjust then, they would have to be pulled and run up on the bench and they didn't have time to do it today.
They also asked me to set all three altimeters to 29.92 when I got home and see what they read. Here's what I got...
Steam - 360
PFD - 345
MFD - 335
So the Aspens are a little low, but now as low as they noted. Isn't there a way to adjust that from the maintenance screens? Something like an offset similar to the pitch and roll offsets? I'm wondering why the panels have to run up on the bench.
