All my adel clamps (MS 21919) in the engine compartment have deteriorating rubber cushions and I wanted to replace.

Did some research on EAA technical tips? Ouch too painful.

Then saw this.

Also available from everywhere.

It works like a charm, saved my fingers and sanity.

Tips:
1. Get lots of 10-32 stainless truss head screw long enough to span the plier ends with washer = 5/8, any supplier, Aircraft Spruce, aviall, ect.
2. Premeasure tubes, pipes and cables with micrometer, get large assortment of clamps from Aircraft Spruce measured in 1/16ths, 1 inch tube = #16 Adel clamp. Get more than you think, as you replace you will find more that should be redone. They are cheap.

3. Thin stainless washer, #10L
4. Non nylon lock nut for engine compartment.

As usual, the last to know, hopefully helpful for some other poor soul.
