I have a couple parts I need to get replaced on a 78' Lance, one of them being the propeller governor cable going from the lever to the governor. A couple sites offer "new surplus" parts. My question is do I need to have an 8130 for every part I replace in the airplane for it to be considered airworthy? The verbiage on the FAA website makes it look like its desired but not required. Thoughts/advice? Thanks!
