The fireworks will be done this year. It will actually be on the airport close to the end of RWY 8.
If you are gonna attend suggest you check the NOTAM. The airport will close and last I heard will open as soon as everything is cleaned up to allow for arrivals and departures. They are hoping to have it open no later than 12 midnight.
