8523TT, 320 SMOH, 320 SPOH, 1018 Useful. IFD540, AXP322, PMA8000BT, Aspen E5, AeroCruze 100, CGR-30P (no analog), fuel data interfaced with IFD. External ADS-B In antenna connected to remote Stratux box providing wi-fi network for flight plan transfers between iPad and IFD and datalink traffic/weather. Factory zinc chromate primer on wing structure, AD 2020-26-16 (eddy current) complete. Missing airframe logs pre-2014. Current oil analysis and consumption history, LED lighting exterior and interior, Steve's gascolator, sells with cover and plugs. Interior decent but front seats need padding in future, in meantime have sheepskin covers. Exterior good but will need paint in next few years..opportunity to finish project with glass and paint. Updated wing root seals, door seals, door hardware, exterior hardware, etc.

Selling to upgrade useful and room for family...it did OSH this year with 4+stuff and did a great job. Makes book+ (check FlightAware and photos). Absolutely fantastic airplane that fits a perfect niche as evening hole burner in the sky, weekend jaunt, or fly-in hauler.

Please see Drive link below for description, equipment list, logs, photos, oil analysis, and sale process, etc. Listing on TAP for $150K to start (I know that's a stiff premium for an Archer...but is priced at same market premium as the other PA28s vs. VREF...and all of the avionics value is for equipment only...no install, downtime, tweaks, etc,). Happy to discuss offers prior to sale starting Monday.

Definitely reach out with any questions,
Thank you,
Kevin

I hope you get every $150K penny! That would mean my arrow IV is worth 200K. Market prices are insane!

that is where the market is. better to start high and work your way down if necessary. Didn't an NFT picture of a rock sell for some stupid money a few days ago?

Not to throw water on a fire but a reality check. Aircraft price is set on three things. Avionics, beyond what normally came or basic IFR; with the addition of what u added which u mite get 40% of what u paid if within lady 5 years auto pilot 2000$ navcom 4000 audio panel 2000. For avionics total credit 8000$
AirFrame time, considering age of paint and interior , glass etc determine TAF hours above or below what is normal giving a credit or debit to overall value of aircraft your aircraft is 44 years old at a cost of 6.00 /hr(set for the piper archer wholesale guide) gets a neg debit to-overall value -24600.$
The lost log books penalizes another-4000$. The penalty is greater for more recent lost in this case last 7 years, vs if logs where lost in first 7 years with a new history of last 37 years.
Total engine time since major rebuild overhaul is third consideration to either add or debit value. To aircraft in determine value. Median time for 2000 hr lyc engine is 1000 hrs. Normal overhaul cost avg 25000.$ works out to 12.50/hr. Since ur engine is 680hrs below median time of 1000hrs. U would get a credit to add value to over all sell price $8500.
So based on a basic 1977 piper archer starts out at $90000 ( based on aircraft wholesale guide which gives est retail value correct for the below three items and eng, AF time Avionics .
add +8000 for avionics
Subtract -24600$ For AFT
Add+8500$ for low eng time
Total sale price 81900.$. The 4100tt over a normal avg 4400 hrs plus lost logs are the biggest devalue.
You may have these challenges from a prospective buyer when negotiating ! Be prepared I wish u best of luck!

All of that was true pre-COVID. Today decent planes are selling for well over the traditional Vref values. How long that will last is anyone's guess

I expect it to plateau, but not collapse. Airline restrictions have pushed people to consider alternate means of personal transport and low interest rates have created opportunities for those with disposable income. Rising interest rates will probably slow the used aircraft sales market, but the prices will probably not fall in the near future. Economic collapse might crater the market, but then we'd all be in a world of hurt.

IMHO, never buy a plane if you are not prepared to eat the cost of the plane. If you can't afford to do that, you can't afford it.
