1973 Piper Challenger (180HP)
ATP/CFII owned, open checkbook maintenance
Oil changes religiously every 50 hours (or less) Exxon Elite 20-50
Compressions all 79/80 at last annual (see pic)

-5500 TT Airframe
-1525 TSFRM (Lycoming) flies weekly
-All ADs complied with
-All logs since new
-Annual inspection completed March 2018
-IFR pitot static check completed March 2018
- flap gap, aileron gap seals
-paint/ interior 1992 very well maintained (pics)
-interior plastic repainted 2016
-new carpet 2014
-Dynamic Propeller balance 2017
-new vacuum pump 2017
-LED landing/ tail light
-Strobe lights
Avionics
-KLN 90 VFR GPS (coupled to autopilot)
-Century single axis auto pilot, works great (HDG, VOR, LOC, GPS, WL)
-Dual KX155 Nav/Comm
- King KN-64 DME
-KT76 Transponder
-KR86 ADF (indicator inop) receives audio
-Garmin GPS map 396 on yoke
-4 place intercom
I have flown this airplane over 400 hours since I purchased it in 2015. It is a great basic IFR platform and navigates well with autopilot and GPS. I have spent many hours getting the paint and interior to show as well as it does. It has great ramp appeal.
This is a used airplane, and I encourage any prospective buyer to take a look. It is by no means a cream puff, but a great cross country work horse. Useful load 975lbs!
