I'm curious about the droop tips.

Who is the manufacturer, and what performance do they add.

Thank you.

"Ace" Demers, Madras Droop Tips.

Controversial benefits. Outlandish claims in 1950's and 60's ads. Still, people like them and "Ace" had huge following.

Thanks skywag.

I have a Super Cub project with similar looking tips. I'd have to check the plane's paperwork to tell you what it has. Neither Ace nor Madras describes them.

My Dad was an avid Super Cub pilot and he did not care for them, mainly because he was a purist and preferred the traditional rounded tips. And also he didn't think the Super Cub actually needed any additional performance for his purposes.

AOPA gives you free listing too if you are a member, but dont think it supports picture's yet which is weird.
