1964 Piper Cherokee 180 (PA28-180)

It is in nice condition and has been meticulously maintained. This is a very nice airplane.

No damage history

Full logs since 1964

TTSN: 3530 hours

Low time engine (220 hours since rebuild)

New propeller

Low time accessories

Painted in 2014

No corrosion problems

Hangared at KHIO since I have owned it (since 2016)

All AD’s complied with

O360-A3A Lycoming engine (220 hours since rebuild)

Major Overhaul of engine: 220 hours ago in 2011 (full rebuild) Premier Aircraft at Troutdale Oregon

Prop time: ~35 hours (Sensenich)

Most accessories are new since 2017

New Carburetor (58 hours ago)

New mechanical fuel pump (60 hours ago),

New vacuum pump (60 hours ago)

New starter (123 hours ago)

New Steve’s gascolator (25 hours ago)

Bendix Mags: 1 magneto rebuilt; 1 magneto replaced with factory re-manufactured (93 hours ago for both)

New spark plugs

All new oil and fuel hoses

New tires and brakes in 2017 (102 hours ago)

Recently replaced carb heat and muffler shroud

Exterior rating: 8.5-9 out of 10 (a few minor cosmetic flaws from repairs and normal use)

Interior rating: 8 out of 10

Newer Garmin COM radio

Collins NAVCOM (comm + VOR) - Functional but old

Narco mode C transponder (functional but old; not currently certified per the 2 year requirement for class B and C airspace)

New 8 channel Electronics International Engine Analyzer (4 EGT + 4 CHT probes)

Carburetor heat gauge

Annual current until 5/2021

Only known issues: The rotating beacon recently stopped working and there is a small skin crack (less than 1cm) in the aileron that has not moved since I have owned the airplane.

My goal was to bring the airplane up to “new” mechanical performance condition. I have mostly done this.

Mechanically, virtually everything has been done to ensure this airplane is safe and reliable. This is a great VFR machine.

Asking $45K.

I also have an Garmin Aera 660 yoke mount GPS and a Garmin GDL-50 that I use for navigation and portable ADS B-IN. This system has worked well for me. I would consider including these in the sale if interested.
