Looking for opinions, found a 1960 PA-24 250. The bad news it's been sitting for 11 years in no movement in a hanger. With the small amount of research I done, it looks like a semi tear down would be needed on the engine to check for rust. There's about 700 hours on this engine since it's last overhaul. The plane it self has about 3000 hours on it. The inside is very clean and has most of the oem gauges with radio upgrades. The upholstery was redone at sometime and is in very good shape. The outside is dirty but under the dirt looks decent. Other things , 3 bad tires plus the landing gear would have to be serviced (from what I've been reading) . Is there other things that could be check before getting an inspection done by an expert? Thanks!
