    Mechanic says it took 38 hours to install trutrak?

    I bought a Tru Trak for my Arrow but I am now worried about the wing spar AD since my Arrow has been used in my flight school. Does it make sense to go ahead with the installation prior to the AD?

    Thanks for the responses. My mechanic is starting from scratch with the trim and following the service manual. He did find linkage that was not adjusted correctly and hopefully that was the problem. Hope to test fly it today.

    My Arrow does not have enough nose down trim. The mechanic says that he has adjusted it as far down as possible. In the past this wasn’t a problem but ever since another mechanic attempted to repair the electric trim this has been a problem. Any ideas?

    Intro

    Hi all Piper fans. I am new to the group but not new to flying. I own a flight school and have a 69 Arrow. I hope to share my experience with everybody and hope to learn from your experiences as well. I’m currently trying to decide on an autopilot.leaning towards the Tru Trak.
