I am asuming you are refering to the nav lights. The answer is yes, however, they are expensiive. If $$$ are in short supply Aircraft Spruce sells LED's that fit your existing nav lights for about $15.00 ea.
Less load on the Ammeter = less load on the engine. Which means more power to pull you through the air or less fuel consumption. Although in this case it would be very small, still I like improvements in efficiency.
You may aslo want to think about getting clear lenses if you buy the red and green lamps. In my case the standard navigation lights drew nearly or more than 5 amps and were all on a 5 amp breaker which would often trip. Now they run just fine

Re: LED Wing tip lights?
They will work fine... but a very anal type IA might notice them and want them removed at annual. And of course, the wings might fall off for certain. Otherwise they will work great. Keep the old ones to pop in if your IA notices em... Bet not...
