I goofed when I spoke about shaft diameter. For some reason I said 3/4 but they are the larger shafts. They will arrive from Aviall tomorrow hopefully. My avionics guy recommended that I get a new set when he puts everything back together.

Figure 10 in the same IPC shows the 3/4 shaft with the felt bushing for the earlier Cherokees.

I did not send that one due to your N-number and serial number effectivity, yours being a 1974 with Serial: 28R-7535068. In fact, I could not find the smaller shaft at all for an Arrow and even looked at the PA28-180 to see if they had somehow put a smaller control wheel shaft in that airplane.
